JOB TITLE:  Title IX Coordinator & College Director of Equity and Compliance; DEPARTMENT:  Equity and Compliance; FLSA:  EXEMPT

SALARY RANGE:  $65,000 - 90,000             

SCHEDULE DETAILS:  Full-time/12 month position/PSRS

 Position Summary

The Title IX Coordinator & College Director of Equity and Compliance is responsible for ensuring the college’s compliance with state and federal laws related to reasonable accommodations, accessibility, inclusion, non-discrimination, non-retaliation and anti-harassment.  This includes ensuring compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of the 1972 Civil Rights Act, the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization of 2013, and the Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act. Additional major duties include performing investigations of student concerns related to equity and compliance and representing the College to both internal and external stakeholders.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.

Four years of experience working with Title IX related laws and regulations, or two years of experience as a practicing attorney.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly sensitive and complex communications objectively.

Valid Missouri Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (for travel to all OTC campuses and locations).

Demonstrated ability to serve a diverse constituency with cultural competency and sensitivity.

Ability to work well with others.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to use information technology for professional productivity (such as Microsoft Office Suite).
