There is an immediate opening for an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Webster County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. Looking for an attorney ready to face the challenges and rewards of working in one of Missouri’s fastest growing counties.  Webster County is opening its new Justice Center, with a new jail, Sheriff’s office, and courtroom that is dedicated to the criminal cases in Webster County.  The position is full-time and requires weekly docket days for both associate and circuit court cases, along with review and filing new charges, and litigating pending cases.  It is a fast paced office, but retains the qualities of a rural county that allows for a unique professional environment, without losing those qualities of a smaller, rural community.  Salary and benefits are competitive with counties in the area.

Marshfield is the county seat for Webster County, and is located just 30 miles east of Springfield on I-44.  This office makes a difference in people’s lives.  Please submit resumes to:  Ben Berkstresser, Webster County Prosecuting Attorney, at, or mail to P.O. Box 7, Marshfield, Missouri  65706.
