The evolution of social media and other electronic data has created unique challenges for practitioners, clients and judges.  This seminar will focus on the evolution of social media and electronic communication, the responsibility of practitioners to keep abreast of such issues, and the ethical pitfalls that can be encountered in investigations, advocacy of clients, and at depositions, hearings and trials.  Specific ABA rules and the Model Rules as well as the Code of Judicial Conduct will be addressed, along with advisory opinions and recent case law developments.
