Damages – Do You Know the New Rules?

Senate Bill 59 went into effect August 28, 2020 and changed punitive damage calculation. This timely program presented by Kristen M. O’Neal from Malkmus Law Firm LLC will start with a refresher on compensatory damages, collateral source, and caps, then dive into the particulars of Senate Bill 591 related to punitive damages.

• Advance: Members $25 (no later than day before the event)– Nonmember Guests $50

SMBA Registration Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation: Requests for refund must be received a minimum of 48 hours prior to the event. All refunds are subject to a $10 administrative fee.
• Substitutions: Substitutes for paid registrants unable to attend are allowed in most circumstances. (Not available to non members or season pass holders)
