Racial Inequity and the Law - How Bias Influenced Missouri’s Legal System

1 MoCLE.  This program qualifies as ethics and elimination of bias categories.

We have a very special program for our first in-person SMBA event in more than a year!  Dr. Marlin Barber from Missouri State University will present Racial Inequity and the Law - How Bias Influenced Missouri’s Legal System.  Dr. Barber is a historian of early and 19th century United States with particular interests in 19th century black American history and Southern and rural studies and will provide historical perspective on inequities that took root even before statehood.

Onsite/ Day of: Members $45, Nonmembers $60

Cancellation Policy

Requests for refund must be received a minimum of 48 hours prior to the event.  Substitutes for paid registrants unable to attend are allowed in most circumstances. (Not available to nonmembers or season pass holders)
