New law goes into effect August 27, 2021 greatly expanding expungement eligibility in Missouri. Expungement Is the legal procedure for people previously convicted of nonviolent, low-level offenses to seal the public record and get a fresh start. The new law reduces the waiting period which opens eligibility to thousands of people.

This one-hour webinar, August 26, 2021, 6:00-7:00 pm, is hosted by the Springfield Metropolitan Bar and presented by Scott Pierson. Pierson, one of the most experienced expungement attorneys in the state, will give a brief presentation then answer questions.
