The Honorable Duane Benton will be our speaker for our October SMBA lunch meeting. Judge Benton has served on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit since 2004 and resides in Kansas City, however he was born in Springfield and is an enthusiastic member of the SMBA. Judge Benton has had a distinguished career, serving on the Missouri Supreme Court and as director of the Missouri Department of Revenue prior to joining the federal bench.
