With the completion of the Morgue, the campus parking is now completed and restored.The current capacity for parking is now greater than anytime in the past.The new striping around the Judicial Court Facility, Juvenile JusticeCenter and Archives now include Fire Lanes in red. The Fire Lanes havebeen added to allow room fire fighting equipment to move through theparking lot and enable them to be in position to fight a fire in any of thebuildings. It is very important that these Fire Lanes remain open. Also,white striping has been placed at the ends of the parking lanes and otherareas. The white striping indicates that no vehicles should be parked inthat area.
I have been informed that the County has re-evaluated the practice ofparking and a new standard will be imposed. Please be informed thatparking in unauthorized areas could result in a person receiving a parking citation or the vehicle being towed. If you have a custom of parking in unauthorized areas, please move to anauthorized space.
