SMBA Member Virginia Fry Named Woman of the Year

Missouri Lawyers Weekly has announced the recipients of the 2015 Women’s Justice Awards.  Southwest Missouri and the Springfield Bar will be well represented at the April 30, 2015 awards dinner in St. Louis.  Virginia Fry will receive the award for Woman of the Year, marking the first time this award has gone to a Springfield attorney.  Also receiving awards are the Honorable Sue Chrisman (Public Official Category), Wendy Garrison (Public Service Practitioner Category), Nancy Allen (Enterprise Category),  Kim Chaffin (Enterprise Category) Chantel Alberhasky (Litigation Practitioner Category) and Andrea Long (Rising Star Category).  Two additional recipients with Southwest Missouri roots are Sebrina Barrett, Missouri Bar Executive Director and Mary Hershewe, a law school student at Washington University.
