Christian County Changing Adoption Filing Fee

We are changing our Adoption Filing Fees Effective September 1st, This
change is being made to fulfill the fee required by the Bureau of Vital
Records so that the client will receive a certified copy of the
certificate. Not all attorneys were aware that we were not collecting the
fee for a certified copy of the certificate, so going forward we will be
sending the fee along with the certificate to ensure they receive a copy.
They are currently $183.00.
We are removing the $50.00 Guardian Ad Litem fee
Here is the breakdown of the new filing fees of $165.00 EFFECTIVE September
1, 2017
$83.00 Circuit Filing Fees
$50.00 Putative Father Registration
$30.00 Certificate of Adoption/Processing Fee Bureau of Vital Records
$2.00 Postage to mail the certificate
