Congratulations to the students for recognition in the Springfield Bar’s 2020 Law Day Poster contest. Typically, we announce these winners and display their work in April. Pandemic precautions changed our plans, but by happy accident, the exhibit reached an even bigger audience than ever! This year’s theme is Your Voice, Your Vote, Our Democracy – the 19th Amendment at 100. The Library Center invited us to install the exhibit shortly before the election. Library patrons and voters in line on election day have enjoyed more than 150 delightful posters creatively capturing the theme. Thank you to the teachers who encourage their students to participate and congratulations to our young artists! 1st place: Samantha McCrimmons, Sherwood Elementary 2nd place: Jeff Lewis, Immaculate Conception 3rd place: Marin Abbey, Immaculate Conception Finalists: Sherwood Elementary
