Greene County Courthouse Attorney Wifi
Monday, July 19, 2021
The Greene County Court has established a new Wi-Fi network for exclusive use of lawyers and pro se litigants. This network should provide lawyers high speed stable access to the internet while they are in the court facility. The network is currently accessible only via Wi-Fi. However, the court is installing hardwire/ethernet access in the courtrooms so that lawyers that desire to use the network on a more extended basis, i.e. presentation of a witness during trial, will have the best possible connection. To maintain optimal performance of the network, the court requests that it only be used for pressing legal business and by attorneys and pro se litigants. Please refrain from sharing the passcode with clients and others. The court’s IT staff will monitor access and if the passcode appears to have been compromised it will be changed as often as necessary (weekly or even daily if warranted). The network identifiers are SSID --“Circuit31.” The network should be automatically visible on a Wi-Fi enabled device when in the court facility. This network should provide lawyers high speed uninterrupted access to the internet while they are in the court facility. Passcode: BonaFide2021!
