Notice from the 38th Circuit

The 38th Circuit congratulates Judge Jessica Kruse on her appointment to Circuit Judge and Mr. Steven Ward to his appointment to Associate Circuit Judge.  On January 6, 2022, the cases pending in Division 2 will be assigned to Judge Kruse, and the cases pending in Division 3 will be assigned to Judge Ward.  Some pending family law cases will be transferred to Division 2, and Judge Kruse will remain the Judge assigned.  For the remainder of January, Judge Johnson may hear routine civil and criminal matters scheduled in Division 2, and Judge Kruse may hear some matters scheduled in Division 3.  The transition should be completed by January 31, 2022.  Thank you for your patience.
