Court Fees Update - 38th Circuit

As of Tuesday, March 1, 2022, court costs will be assessed to Respondents if a Full Order of Protection is granted at disposition. The fee of $130.50 will need to be paid within 30 days or a $25.00 late payment fee will be assessed.
Also Starting Tuesday, March 1st, 2022, the Christian County 38th Circuit Law Library fee will be going from $5.00 to $15.00 for each new case filing. We are also changing the name from Law Library to Special 38th Circuit Judicial Fund.

Circuit Civil Cases $100.50
Domestic Cases $130.50
Adoptions $210.50
Associate Civil $48.50
Associate Small Claims $35.50
Expungements $353.50
Probate
Large Estate with a will $363.50
Large Estate without a will $328.50
Small Estate $68.50 (if over $15,000.00 add $60.00 for publication)
Admit A Will - No letters granted $68.50
Orders Refusing Letters to Spouse and or Creditor $68.50
Determination of Heirship $268.50
Require Administration $68.50
To Reopen a Closed Estate $68.50
Safety Deposit Boxes $68.50
Adult Letters of Guardianship and or Conservatorship $373.50
Minor Letters of Guardianship and or Conservatorship $93.50
Trust $78.50
