Lawyers Install New Leadership Dunville to serve as 2022 Springfield Metro Bar President ________________________________________
SPRINGFIELD, MO –Springfield attorney Nate Dunville was sworn in as the 2022 President of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association (SMBA) Friday at the 48th SMBA Banquet and Installation of Officers. Dunville, a partner with Neale & Newman, LLP, is the 96th president of the local bar association which was founded in 1903. The SMBA is the largest professional networking group in Southwest Missouri, serving more than 900 attorneys. Dunville follows 2021 President Thomas O’Neal.
As his final act as SMBA President, Thomas O’Neal presented an award recognizing the outstanding contribution of Ben Shantz. Shantz is an associate at Spencer Fane. The full slate of 2022 SMBA officers and directors is Nate Dunville, president; Jarica Oeltjen, president-elect; David Olive, treasurer; Laura Robinson, secretary: and Thomas O’ Neal, past-president. Directors are Joe Easter, Doug Fredrick, Scott Pierson, Randy Eggert, Antonio Hansberry, Aimee Morrison, Chandler Gregg, Sherry Rozell, The Hon. Regi Martin, Rachel Riso, Tom Carver and Debbie Dodge.
