Cordonnier Announces Retirement
Sunday, August 7, 2022
Sunday August 7, 2022 In a letter dated today and addressed to the Chief Justice Paul Wilson and Governor Mike Parson, Judge Michael Cordonnier has expressed his intention to retire effective January 31, 2023. Judge Cordonnier has served the 31st Circuit since 2008, acting as Presiding Judge since 2018. Because of his leadership the 31st Circuit was a model for the state in COVID response. "As much as we hate to see him step down, he has served Greene County in an exemplary fashion through unprecedented times" according to Crista Hogan, SMBA Executive Director. "His contribution to the administration of justice is unquantifiable."
