SMBA Members Recognized by MoBar

Three SMBA members were recognized at the Missouri Bar Foundation Awards Luncheon September 14, 2022 at the University Plaza Hotel in Springfield.

Phillip Fuhrman, first assistant prosecutor with the Greene County Prosecuting Attorney's Office received the Lon O Hocker Award. The Hocker Award recognizes trial lawyers under the age of 40 who demonstrating professional excellence.

Derek Ankrom, partner at Spencer Fane received the David J. Dixon Appellate Advocacy Award. That award recognizes lawyers under 40 who perform out outstanding appellate work.

Dana Tippin Cutler, partner at James W. Tippin and Associates received the Purcell Professionalism Award. That award is given to Missouri lawyers who consistently demonstrate an exceptional degree of competency, integrity, and civility in both their professional and civic activities.
