SMBA Member Elected President of SPS Board

SMBA member Danielle Kincaid has been elected president of the Springfield Public School Board.   Kincaid said "I'm honored and humbled to be elected by my fellow board members as the President of the Board of Education for Springfield Public Schools. I look forward to using the skills I’ve gained as an attorney to unite our Board members around our common goal to ensure the success of the 24,500 students in our district."

Other members serving in elected capacity include Abram McGull and Craig Hosmer on Springfield's City Council and Matt Russell who is Mayor of Republic Missouri.
