SMBA Past President Appointed to the Supreme Court of Missouri.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. –  

Today Governor Mike Parson appointed Past SMBA President Judge Ginger Gooch to the Supreme Court of Missouri.  (Link to governor’s release)

Jarica Oeltjen, SMBA president had this to say: “It is an exciting day for the legal community across the state but especially for those of us in the Springfield Bar.  Judge Gooch is a leader and active member of our bar and we are proud that the best of us will now be represented on our state’s highest court.”

Judge Gooch is the seventh woman to be appointed to the Supreme Court of Missouri and the first Springfieldian to be appointed in more than 100 years.
