Government Agencies Need Unredacted Documents

The Missouri Department of Revenue (DOR) is receiving redacted records notifications. However, to accurately match the records submission to the driver license records, DOB, drivers license number and/or SSN is needed. The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) is receiving redacted expungement petitions. However, without the redacted information, MSHP cannot ensure accurate information is provided to the courts or assess whether or not the plaintiff is eligible for an expungement. The Missouri Department of Corrections (DOC) is receiving redacted sentence and judgment forms. It is extremely important that government agencies receive unredacted documents from courts to provide accurate information. If your court is not providing unredacted documents to DOR, MSHP, DOC or other agencies and you are contacted by the agency, please comply with the agency's request for unredacted copies.
