2024 Athena and Virginia Fry Awards go to SMBA Members

For the third consecutive year the Athena Award recipient is an SMBA member.  The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that the 2024 Athena Award will be presented to Debbie Shantz Hart and the Virginia Fry Rising Star Award will go to SMBA immediate past president, Jarica Oeltjen. SMBA President Debbie Dodge said "I am thrilled the Chamber is recognizing these ladies whose leadership  and involvement in our community brings honor and dignity to our profession."

Hart and Oeltjen will be honored at a lunch celebration March 20, 2024 at the White River Room.
