Sycamore and Monett go to State Mock Trial

The Ozarks Regional Mock Trial Tournament was held March 4 and 6 at the Greene County Judicial Courts Facility. Sycamore Home School took both first and second place and new team, Monett took third.  Sycamore and Monett will represent our region at the state competition in Independence March 28-30. 

Thank you to the SMBA volunteers who served as judges and scoring evaluators: Brooke Downing, Cole Roberts, Matt Russell, Kristen O' Neal, Debra Gullett-Johnson, Matt Campbell, Catherine Reade, Courtney Schawo, Kris Barefield, Kimberly Pulley, Elizabeth Fax, Parker Rahman, Gray Malkmus and Judges Myers, Greenwade, Ankrom, Poppen, Taylor, Fuhrman, Palmietto and Hosmer.

The tournament is presented by the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Foundation with grant funding from the Missouri Lawyer Trust Account Foundation.  Information on helping start a team is available at this link.
