2026 Salary Survey

One of the biggest challenges faced by our members is staffing.  That challenge goes hand in hand with compensation and benefit decisions.   That is why the SMBA is launching a salary survey with plans to update annually and distribute to members/ firms who participate. The survey includes compensation and benefit information for all levels of staff and associate attorneys. 

The survey is anonymous and online, based on the survey conducted by Carnahan Evans in the past. We appreciate Carnahan Evans for providing us with a template and turning the project over to the SMBA.  

The deadline for submission for the 2026 survey is October 2  and we plan to provide the results to participants on or before November 1 to assist in their year-end planning.
