Staff Attorney

The Greene County Juvenile Office has an opening for a staff attorney to handle child dependency and termination of parental rights cases. This position combines courtroom advocacy, legal research, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Juvenile Office attorneys draft and argue pleadings, handle contested hearings, advise staff on legal matters, meet with community partners, and help shape policy and practice within office as well as in the community. Greene County offers excellent benefits that include medical, dental and life insurance; as well as 14 paid holidays, paid sick and vacation leave, a pension plan, and the position is eligible for student loan forgiveness. To be considered you must be an active member of the Missouri Bar and have experience in litigation, ideally for at least two years in juvenile, family or criminal law.
