Alan Pratzel was appointed as the Chief Disciplinary Counsel by the Supreme Court of Missouri in April 2007.  In his position with the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel, Mr. Pratzel oversees the review, investigation and litigation of all ethics complaints against lawyers in the State of Missouri.  Prior to becoming Chief Disciplinary Counsel, Mr. Pratzel was in private practice for 30 years in St. Louis.  He is an adjunct professor of Ethics and Professionalism at Washington University School of Law.
