About the program

For months, Immigration law and U.S. policy have been constant topics in the daily newsfeed, and there is no shortage of opinions. But the legal issues are complex and require more than sound bites to decipher.  This program will provide a basic overview of immigration law and its terms and timeline and help you identify issues tangential to your practice, or just have a better understanding of the topic so prevalent in the news.

About the presenter

David Cox, has been practicing immigration law since 2001, representing businesses and individuals.  He serves as chair of the Immigration Law Section for the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and is a frequent presenter on the topic of immigration law.

David is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia and the Eastern District of Missouri and state bars of Utah, Georgia and Missouri and he is a member of the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St Louis, and the American Immigration Lawyer's Association.
